Today’s feature was not actually captured in Idaho, but we wanted to share some information with our brides who might be considering an elopement! Often when brides think of elopements, there are sandy beaches and a lot of travel is required. If you are a bride on a budget and considering to elope, head to the mountains!! Janelle & Co. did such a great job with this elopement close by in Jackson! There are many different resorts where you can go to the top of mountains or see beautiful scenery that are close by to celebrate your marriage!
From the photographer, “I was so privileged to work with this amazing couple as they eloped in a wedding for two in Jackson, Wyoming. I’ve been to the Jackson area several times, but always for hiking so I was thrilled for this opportunity to photograph Sylvie & Brett’s elopement. They have been dating long distance from the beginning as she is from the UK. Their beautiful ceremony was performed in a cute little park by Humanist Celebrant T. Hamish Tear. After the ceremony, we traveled together to the famous Mormon Row which has several barns still standing from nearly 100 years ago. It was the perfect area with the beautiful lower part of the Teton range in view. We prayed we wouldn’t get rained out and were so blessed to have the sunshine come our way. Sadly, the Teton peaks were not visible because of low clouds, but we got beautiful images none the less!”
From the bride, “We are so pleased we chose Janelle to photograph our elopement wedding in Jackson, WY. She was extremely helpful and thoughtful to what we wanted and her relaxed and friendly approach made us feel very relaxed. The photos are amazing and captured the day perfectly so we were able to share our special day with our family and friends.”
